National Medical Director, Hospital Medicine
Dr. Martin Duclos joined ApolloMD in 2014 as a hospitalist medical director and was later appointed Chief Medical Officer for hospital medicine in 2017. Dr. Duclos received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh. He then began a career in private practice in internal medicine. Like many internists, he eventually transitioned to hospital medicine. As medical director at St. Francis Medical Center in Memphis, Dr. Duclos successfully led efforts to improve staffing, quality and efficiency, earning him Director of the Year honors in 2016. In October 2019, Dr. Duclos earned his Master of Business Administration in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration from Christian Brothers University.
In his current role, Dr. Duclos is responsible for ensuring the quality of ApolloMD’s hospitalist programs and provides on-the-ground coaching, mentorship and support to all hospitalist programs and medical directors.
