Derek Robinson, MD, MBA, FACEP Recognized by the National Medical Association

August 18, 2014 – ApolloMD is excited to congratulate Derek Robinson, MD, MBA, FACEP on his recent recognition by the National Medical Association (NMA) as a Top Healthcare Professional Under 40.  Dr. Robinson was also recently named one of Chicago’s 40 Game Changers for 2014 for his contributions to medicine in Chicago.

Dr. Robinson received his medical degree from Howard University in Washington, DC, and trained in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center.  He also earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Robinson serves as Executive Director of the Illinois Healthcare Association’s Institute for Innovations in Care & Quality.  In this role, Robinson leads initiatives involving healthcare-reform readiness, patient safety, and coordination of care within the hospital.

Currently, Dr. Robinson practices part-time with ApolloMD in Illinois and Indiana.  We are proud to have him on our team and congratulate him on this great honor.
