Seth Glickman, MD, MBA Named Scientific Consultant on Clinical Quality for ApolloMD
July 2, 2007 – Dr. Glickman will serve as ApolloMD’s Scientific Consultant on Clinical Quality effective immediately. In this role, he will be responsible for designing and directing studies on quality of patient care in the emergency department. This work will assist the development of new systems for delivering the highest quality of care for patients at ApolloMD’s client hospitals.
A graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Glickman trained in Emergency Medicine at The University of Chicago and holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua Business School. He currently serves as an assistant professor at Duke University and will be leading the alliance between ApolloMD and the Duke Clinical Research Institute.

Dr. Glickman’s contributions to the area of clinical quality have been numerous. He has been the lead author in many prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association and Science. His research on improving healthcare quality has been featured in the Wall St. Journal, Washington Post, Forbes magazine, and other prominent news publications.
