Dr. Patel joined ApolloMD in 2007 and elected to participate in ApolloMD’s formalized leadership development program.  He then served as Medical Director before being named Regional President overseeing ApolloMD’s practices in the Carolinas.  In both roles, he led to the success of many large volume emergency departments, maximizing throughput, enhancing patient satisfaction, and improving clinical quality across the board.  Prior to joining ApolloMD, Dr. Patel received his BS, MD, and MBA from Duke University and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University.

Dr. Robinson joined the ApolloMD team in 2001 as a staff physician, and later took on numerous leadership roles within the practice, including medical directorships at both the site and system levels, and Regional President overseeing ApolloMD’s Region 1.  His leadership at a local level led to industry best outcomes at West Georgia Medical Center where improvements in quality and throughput led to a doubling of the ED volume and numerous accolades including the Press Ganey Compass Award.  Dr. Robinson received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Emory University.

As Divisional Presidents, Drs. Patel and Robinson will work closely with Regional Presidents Roderick Bennett, MD, Brett Cannon, MD, Michael Lipscomb, MD, and Ted Patras, MD as well as the administrative teams of partner facilities to ensure clinical and operational success.  Please join us in congratulating Drs.
