The American Medical Association (AMA) is the largest association of practicing physicians, medical students and residents, both MDs and DOs, in the Nation across all specialties. The organization promotes the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health. It advocates for the interest of its physician members and publishes research through JAMA Network and other publications to help the advancement of public health.
