Steven Currier, MD
Board Certified Emergency Medicine
Dr. Currier joined ApolloMD in 2013 and currently serves as the Regional President for Eastern and Middle Georgia. He is a versatile and innovative leader who brings 30 years of military leadership experience to ApolloMD. As a Military Medical Officer, he served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Between deployments, he served as teaching faculty for the Brooke Army Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency and as the Course Director for the Military Contingency Medicine Course at the Uniformed Services University. This course is the capstone combat medicine course for senior medical students at the DoD medical school. His final posting was as the Chief of the Department of Emergency and Hyperbaric Medicine at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, GA.
Dr. Currier received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas.
