As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities we serve, our team hosted a food drive during our Thanksgiving Luncheon to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Through the generosity of our employees, we collected 412 pounds of non-perishable food, helping to provide approximately 300 meals for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

We are proud to partner with the Atlanta Community Food Bank in their mission to fight hunger, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the holiday season. Our team remains dedicated to serving our community and supporting initiatives that promote well-being and access to essential resources.

This National Volunteer Week, our Atlanta team came together to give back in incredible ways. We partnered with The Sandwich Project to make over 300 sandwiches to combat food insecurity, and we assembled 1600+ care packages that will be distributed during EMS week at our Wellstar partner hospitals. From supporting our neighbors in need to recognizing frontline heroes, we’re proud to play a part in building healthier communities.

Community Outreach

“Healthy Communities” is central to our vision because community engagement is vital to health care. Our caregivers understand and address local needs through outreach, educating underserved populations, promoting prevention, and improving health care access to bridge care disparities.

Robert Arledge, PA-C, Lead APC at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, joins the ApolloMD team with 25 years of experience in emergency medicine. Practicing in rural hospitals, tertiary facilities, and trauma centers, Arledge now focuses on rural medicine and appreciates the sense of community he feels at Hugh Chatham.
