Licensed for 452 beds, UNC Health Southeastern offers an array of acute care, intensive care and psychiatric services to the residents of Southeastern North Carolina and the surrounding region. UNC Health Southeastern serves 15,000 inpatients and 52,500 emergency patients annually.

  • Annual Patient Volume: 52,500
  • ED Bed: 40
  • Admission Rate: 20%
  • Physician Daily Coverage:  48Hours- 4 shifts per day (2D/2N)
  • Physician Shifts: 7a-7p/7p-7a
  • APC Daily Coverage (hours): 36-48 Hours per day. Dynamic Schedule approach with more coverage on M-Th
  • Documentation: Epic; Dragon available
  • Dialysis: Daily Coverage with Nephrologist On-call 24/7
  • Emergent Available After Hours
  • 3-Year EM Residency Program through Campbell University, must be comfortable with working with residents when available
