Ashley Atwood, MHA
Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President Operations, Ashley Atwood oversees a team across the South and West regions of the company. Her team is responsible for the practices’ financial, quality and operational goals. Additionally, she leads company-wide initiatives focused on operational efficiency and growth.
Ms. Atwood joined ApolloMD in 2015. During her tenure she has managed contracts in emergency medicine, hospital medicine and critical care. Additionally, she worked in hospital management as the Interim Administrator and Strategy Officer for a community acute care hospital. Beginning in 2024, she took on a role in practice integration, focused on supporting ApolloMD’s newest practices and streamlining the integration process.
Prior to joining ApolloMD, Ms. Atwood worked in hospital administration and consulting. During her time consulting at a Big Four firm, she worked on operational efficiency and cost reduction within large physician practice organizations, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Atwood holds an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington.
