Flights & Airfare

With 23 scheduled airline partners, Denver International Airport (DEN) is the most convenient airport to the downtown convention center and the only major hub in a 500-mile radius. More than 190 non-stop flights are available to and from DEN with a majority of the destinations in the United States. This year, ACEP is partnered with Campbell Resources to offer the lowest airfares available at the time of your booking. Campbell Resources charges a $25.95 fee per airfare transaction. To make your reservations, email ACEP@campbelltravel.com or call 800-501-2570 or 972-716-2570, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. Don’t forget to mention you are attending ACEP19!

Ground Transportation

Whether you are traveling to and from the airport or throughout downtown, Denver has plenty of ground transportation options to help move visitors through the city. Regional Transportation District (RTD) is the rail and bus system offering public transportation throughout Denver. For $10.50 each way, travelers can take the Airport Rail to Union Station and vice versa. Trains leave every 15-minutes between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and every 30-minutes during times outside of those hours with stops at eight total stations. RTD also services the Light Rail and the RTD bus fleet. Taxi services, Uber and Lyft are all readily available at the airport and most hotels, attractions and shopping centers throughout Denver. Visit the individual websites or download the apps for more information and estimated fares.

International Travelers

ACEP welcomes travelers from around the world to experience the largest EM-focused conference each year. More than 50 countries were represented by past attendees and the count is expected to continue to grow for future events. International travelers should consider the following steps when planning the trip:
  1. Start the visa application process well in advance of travel dates. The waiting period is lengthy due to the greater inspection of visa applications.
  2. Review all visa information and requirements. Visa requirements vary from country to country. To determine what is required to visit the United States, contact the U.S. embassy or consulate in the country you live in.
  3. Request a letter of invitation from for your visa application. ACEP sends a letter to support your visa application via email. Letters are only issued for individuals who have registered and paid in full for the event. Requests should be made more than 5-days before your embassy/consulate appointment and more than 10-days before the beginning of the conference. High volumes of letters are requested each year so it is best to request as soon as possible.
  4. Schedule an appointment with the embassy/consulate. More information on applying for a visa is available on the US State Department
  5. Research current USA border and customs requirements. Resources are available from Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) and S. Customs and Border Protection.
  6. Plan ahead for currency conversion. Most banks are able to exchange currencies. More information here.
