American Hospital Association (AHA)

The American Hospital Association’s central mission is to promote good health around the country. It is a professional organization, advocacy group and a standard-bearer for what defines good healthcare.

The AHA has more than 5,000 member organizations across the country, as well as nearly 37,000 individuals. As a professional organization, the American Hospital Association provides certification, training, seminars and other educational resources to members.

As an advocacy group, the AHA gives hospitals a voice in Washington D.C. when it comes to healthcare -related regulations. They advocate for hospital regulations and in legislative and legal situations.

As a thought leader in the healthcare industry, the AHA is one of the notable forces behind disseminating new information on healthcare issues. Being a member, either as a hospital, healthcare facility, or individual, provides a number of benefits and protections that come from being a part of such an expansive network.
