NPI Number

A National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a 10-digit identification number issued to all covered health care providers by CMS and a HIPPA Simplification Standard. NPIs are assigned in two forms – at the individual practitioner level or at the group level. Some provider service groups or practices may have several NPIs depending on the organizations’ structure.

Covered health care providers, all health plans and all health clearinghouses must use NPI numbers in financial and administrative transactions.

Welcome to ApolloMD

Private, Independent Group with No Outside Ownership.

ApolloMD is entirely owned by our physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and key business team members. We started in 1983 by partnering with a nonprofit health system, and we are proud of our history as a completely private, independent group for the last four decades. We have never accepted outside ownership.
