Our Pediatric Emergency Department, situated within the newly constructed Beverly Knight Olson Children’s hospital, is dedicated to providing unparalleled care for children, ensuring immediate access to comprehensive pediatric services. This free-standing hospital is also a teaching hospital, which enables Atrium Health Navicent to attract the best and brightest in the area. The Adult Emergency Department is the sole Level 1 Trauma Center in the region, further solidifying our commitment to excellence.

  • Annual Patient Volume: 24,800
  • ED Beds: 10
  • EMR: Epic
  • Practice Size: 6 Physicians & 3 APCs
  • Physician Daily Coverage: 12 hours
  • Pediatric Hospitalist, PICU, NICU Service
  • Pediatric Residents rotate through ED
  • BC/BE PEDS or EM required, PEMs desired
  • New state-of-the-art facility
  • Scheduling: 6am-6pm (days); 6pm-6am (nights)
  • 12 shifts a month on average
