Benjamin Johnson, MSHA

As Executive Vice President Operations, Ben Johnson oversees a team across the Central and East regions. His team is responsible for the practices’ financial, operational and quality goals. Additionally, he leads company-wide initiatives focused on operational efficiency, growth, and cost containment.

Mr. Johnson joined ApolloMD in 2012 and has managed contracts in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, and anesthesia.

Prior to joining ApolloMD, Mr. Johnson worked in health care consulting spending most of his time working with health care clients on hospital master plans, service line strategic plans, and facility plans.  During this time, he also earned his Lean Black Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Mr. Johnson holds a BBA from the University of Iowa and an MSHA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
