Congratulations to Physician Assistant Nicole Pisciotta on receiving the prestigious Guardian Angel Award from the Novant Health Foundation.
Nicole’s exceptional dedication and personalized care makes a significant difference to patients at Novant Health Clemons Medical Center. A patient recognized her for going above and beyond, saying “She was great, and I feel blessed that she was who treated me.” To commemorate the moment, Nicole received the Guardian Angel pin, and a donation was made to the Novant Health Foundation in her honor.

ApolloMD congratulates our own Jesse Ellsworth, MD, an emergency medicine physician at our partner Novant Kernersville Medical Center in Kernersville, NC.
He recently received Novant’s Guardian Angel award and pin, a recognition program that enables “patients to say ‘thank you’ to team members who made it easier for patients to focus on what really matters – getting better and staying healthy.”
Pam Dillon, the patient’s mother who nominated Dr. Ellsworth, wrote this in her letter of praise:
“Dr. Ellsworth took the time to listen and discuss her symptoms, run tests and explain everything. His kindness and nonjudgmental attitude were really appreciated.”
According to Novant Health, the patient left the hospital feeling hope that had eluded her during previous medical encounters.
