Ayaz Pathan, MD, MBA, FACEP
Divisional President
Dr. Ayaz Pathan joined ApolloMD in 2007 and has since held various leadership roles within the organization, including Medical Director and now Divisional President. Leveraging years of experience in operations and flow management, Dr. Pathan supports ApolloMD hospital partners across seven states. In 2014, he was honored with the inaugural ApolloMD “Medical Director of the Year” award.
Dr. Pathan earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C., and both his medical degree and MBA from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He has also previously served as a North Carolina Medical Examiner and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at East Carolina University’s Division of Health Sciences.
