Dr. Tariq Noohani joined ApolloMD in 2011 and has held various leadership positions for the organization including Ultrasound Director, Associate Residency Program Director, Administrative Fellowship Program Director, Medical Director and currently Regional Vice President.
Dr. Noohani earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, Medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Noohani completed his Emergency Medicine training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He obtained his MBA from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA.
Dr. Noohani has extensive large volume emergency department clinical, administrative and academic teaching experience and has an interest in quality and process improvement, emergency department operations, and emergency medicine education. As Associate Residency Program Director, Dr. Noohani was integral in the creation and curriculum development of the Wellstar Emergency Medicine Residency Program and went on to start ApolloMD’s Emergency Medicine Administrative Fellowship Program with a goal of training future leaders in the field of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Noohani is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
